ACLA Strongly Recommends Chinese Lawyers AdvancedTraining Program in the United States

The US-China Legal Exchange Foundation (UCLEF) partners with Fordham Law School, one of the three distinguished law schools in New York - the other two are New York University School of Law and Columbia Law School - to launch the Advanced Training Program for Chinese Lawyers in the United States. The first session of the Program will be held in New York from July 12 to August 8, 2009.

The Program is highly welcomed by a good many Chinese lawyers from its initial planning stage, and, after more specific program details have been launched, draws more extensive public attention, including, among others, a number of well-known legal medias. All China Lawyers Association (ACLA) has strongly recommended the Program through its website http://www.acla.org.cn/pages/index.html, specific details being launched at http://www.acla.org.cn/pages/2009-4-24/s51502.html

UCLEF hopes to be able to take this Program as a great opportunity to enhance Chinese lawyers' understanding of the legal system and law practice of the United States, promote professional cooperation between U.S and Chinese lawyers, and create valuable opportunities for Chinese lawyers to improve professionalism as well as advance business development.

Key words: US-China legal exchange, law of the United States, legal cooperation, Fordham Law School, training program for Chinese lawyers in the United States.
